About the Rock & Roll Library Tour

The Rock & Roll Library Tour was conceived by Michigan librarian Bill Harmer in 2005 as a way to shake up what was happening in public libraries. Since then, it has grown to a national event at which Detroit band The High Strung has played for more than 22,000 people in 48 states. Presented by The Black River Group, the 2009 tour features The High Strung and Donny Hue & the Colors.
